Apple Cinnamon Bread


Hello Fall! This is the time of the year when I enjoy trying new recipes that are healthy, yet delicious. Today I made two leaves of cranberry banana bread and I also made two leaves of the recipe I am about to share with you. It is absolutely delicious. If you like apple crisp or apple pie, you have got to try out this recipe.



Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup egg whites OR 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups self rising flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large apple, finely chopped (I used two gala apples)


Instructions:


  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Spray pan with baking spray or grease it
  3. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together in a bowl and set aside
  4. Combine sugar, butter, egg whites, vanilla & mix until smooth
  5. Add 1 cup flour and mix until combined, add the milk and remaining flour.
  6. Add the apples to the mix and combine
  7. Sprinkle with brown sugar cinnamon mix
  8. Bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
  9. Let it cool for about 10 minutes
  10. Serve and enjoy or wrap it up for another day.
