Bloody Mary Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 pound 90% lean ground sirloin
  • Cooking spray
  • (1 1/2-ounce) whole-grain hamburger buns
  • romaine lettuce leaves
  • dill pickle spear, thinly sliced crosswise
Preparation

1. Combine ketchup and horseradish in a small bowl, stirring with a whisk.
2. Combine Worcestershire, garlic powder, celery salt, pepper, salt, and beef in a bowl; gently blend with your hands. Form mixture into 4 (3 1/2-inch-diameter) patties.
3. Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add burgers to pan; cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Place 1 burger on bottom half of each bun. Top burgers with ketchup mixture, lettuce, and pickle. Top with top halves of buns.

My Twist to the Recipe:

This was a simple & delicious recipe, super easy

Instead of beef I used turkey- and bought turkey patties
I seasoned the patties with the spices above and then broiled the burgers until cooked, & than flipping to cook the other side. Cook time depends on your oven.
I topped mine with a tsp of guacamole and the lettuce and tomato, with a pickle for a side.
