Peach Banana Bread

So its a rainy day here which made it the perfect day to try out a new recipe. Do you have some extra bananas and peaches laying around the kitchen. If so, you have got to try this recipe. It is super soft, moist, and absolutely delicious. I have a new favorite bread.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 8 tbsp of room temperature unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs or 1/3 cup of egg whites
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 ripe peach
  • 1 tbsp of milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Spray a loaf ban with baking spray
  2. Cream the sugar and butter in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one day at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. In a blender, blend the bananas and peach together, adding a little bit of milk. Mix in the milk and cinnamon. In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add the banana peach mixture to the creamed mixture and stir until combined. Add dry ingredients, mixing just until flour disappears.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake one hour to one hour and ten minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Set aside to cool on a rack for 15 minutes. Remove bread from pan, invert onto rack and cool completely before slicing.
  6. Slice and enjoy!
