A friend of mine was craving chicken casserole and asked if I would make some. Of course I was up for the challenge.
Chicken seasoning:
- garlic powder
- Italian seasoning
- Oregano
- Lemon pepper
- Black pepper
Chicken Casserole Ingredients:
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup 2% milk, I used organic milk
- 1 package of frozen Italian vegetables
- 1 cup butter
- 4 cups egg noodles
- Food Lion Coconut Oil cooking spray
- 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
Directions:
- Spray a cooking sheet with cooking spray
- Add chicken tenders to the sheet
- Season chicken tenders with the spices listed above.
- Bake at 350° til the chicken is cooked
- Take out of the oven and allow to cool. After cooling cut the chicken into bite size pieces.
- In a bowl combine the milk, butter, both cans of soup, add the egg noodles, and frozen vegetables. Stir to combine.
- Spoon all ingredients into the pan
- Top with seasonings & sprinkle with breadcrumbs, if desired.
