šŸ¤Garlic Shrimp with Lemon Butter SaucešŸ¤

After a day of running around tackling errands and needing to finish some homework for college it is nice to have a simple dinner that is easy to make and requires little work with recipes you already have in your home. The shrimp was AMAZING, but had a kick for sure šŸ˜‹

SERVES:4

  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp salt & pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil and red pepper flakes and allow the spice to infuse for about 30 seconds.
  2. Add the shrimp to the pan, spread it out so that it cooks evenly. Cook for a  minute and flip as needed.
  3. Add the garlic, lemon juice to the skillet and cook for a minute.
  4. Add 1/2 of the parsley along with the cubes of butter and swirl the butter around the pan til it melts slowly. As the butter melts it will start to thicken and form a sauce. Add the remaining parsley and stir to combine the ingredients.
  5. The shrimp should be cooked until opaque and cooked through.
