Simple Chicken Pot Pie
Nothing is better than a chicken pot pie, usually these dishes can be hard to make due to elaborate ingredients. I can't wait to try this out again during the Fall. Next time I want to try hit with turkey.
Ingredients:
▪️2 chicken gravy mixes OR homemade chicken gravy
▪️1 tsp poultry seasoning
▪️1 1/2 cups of milk
▪️1 cup water
▪️2 tbsp butter
▪️3 cups of cubed cooked chicken
▪️2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
▪️1 can refrigerated biscuits
Directions:
▶️ Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a pot add the chicken gravy, poultry seasoning, milk, water, and butter to the saucepan. Bring to a boil on medium heat, stirring frequently. Stir in the cooked chicken and vegetables. Let it come back to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
▶️Spon the mixture into a baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Top with biscuits.
▶️Bake for 15 minutes or until he biscuits are golden brown.
