Candy Corn DIY Table Centerpiece

My friend is a big Halloween fan and so we are throwing her a Halloween themed party. I didn’t know what we were going to do for a centerpiece so I browsed around for some ideas and decided to try it out. I have changed this around from the original post which can be found by clicking HERE. Once we finish this craft I will be posting pictures and sharing a video so stay tuned.

What you will need:

  • 3-4 beer bottles or wine bottles
  • Paint or spray paint: white, orange, yellow
  • Paintbrushes, if you use paint
  • Water for cleaning the brushes
  • Paper plate for the paint to go into
  • Newspaper & lots of it just in case

Optional:

  • Wire cutters
  • Dollar Tree Autumn flowers and leaves

  1. Layout some newspaper to cover the table so that the paint doesn’t get everywhere
  2. Get a cup or two of water for rinsing brushes
  3. Paper towels also come in hand to squeeze the excess water out of the brushes
  4. Place a plate on the table and it will be like your palette 🎨
  5. We started by painting the beer bottle white, allow it time to dry

       6. Afterwards, in the middle of the bottle paint it orange and allow it to dry
       7. Finally, the bottom of the bottle will be yellow

Once the bottles are dry you can use them to decorate by wrapping it with twine as in the example of the original post OR you can use it as a flower center piece; which is what we have decided to do. I bought some leaves and Autumn flowers from our local Dollar Tree. Use wire cutters to cut the branches and simply arrange a bouquet inside the bottle. If desired, you can add ribbon around the bottle for a little extra pop.
