- 8 medium apples
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 c water
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp maple sugar flakes
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Directions:
- Peel apples and cut into quarters, place in bottom of crock pot
- Add lemon juice, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, maple sugar flakes, & vanilla extract
- Stir breifly--just enough to mix ingredients
- Cook on low heat for 2 hours, raise temperature to high for 1.5 hours.
- Stir, mashing apple chunks
- Serve & Enjoy!!!!
