It is the week of St. Patrick's Day which means that it is the time where there is leftover cabbage and corned beef. So this week I will be devoting recipes to St. Patrick's Day and how to use up the leftover food with minimal waste.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
Spices for seasoning: garlic powder, thyme, Italian seasoning, oregano, parsley, onion powder
Worcestershire sauce
1 cabbage
4 cups water
Tomato sauce
1/2 onion diced
Directions:
Steam or boil cabbage til tender
Add meat to the bowl and add the seasoning mix to the beef as well as the Worcestershire sauce.
Stuff the cabbage with the turkey mix
Add 1 small can of tomato sauce on top of the cabbage & add more of the spices if you want.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350°
