Carnation Famous Fudge

Christmas is the time of the year when I enjoy baking treats and goodies that my friends and I can enjoy throughout the holidays. This is one of the recipes that I enjoy making because it makes great dessert that is chocolatey delicious 😋



Ingredients:

  • 11/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 oz of canned Carnation Evaporated milk
  • 2 tbsp butter/margarine
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 11/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 tap vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts


Directions:

  1. Line a brownies pan with wax paper
  2. Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat and stirring occasionally.  Boil, stir constantly 4-5 minutes and remove from heat.
  3. Stir in marshmallows, morsels, nuts, and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows until melted. Pour into prepared pan and refrigerate for two hours or until firm. Lift from pan and cut into pieces.
