This smoothie idea came from the Community Table from Parade magazine in our local newspaper. This is a recipe I look forward to trying out in the Summer and also throughout the year when I need an extra boost of energy.
For the smoothie you will need
2 cups of spinach
2 cups of water
1 cup chopped pineapple 🍍
1 cup chopped mango
1 banana 🍌
In a blender purée the spinach and water together until smooth
Add the fruit to the mixture & blend until smooth
For a cold smoothie, make sure at least one of the fruits are frozen, or serve over ice
Serve while cold
