Sour Cream Cookies

It's not Christmas without sour cream cookies. It is one of my favorite cookie recipes that my mom made during the holidays. This recipe wasn't my mom's but it was pretty close.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 tsp baking powder
4 cups all purpose flour

Directions

Combine butter and the sugar in a bowl and whisk together. Beat butter and sugar in an electric mixer til creamy.
Add eggs, vanilla, sour cream, and milk and beat until smooth.
Add baking soda, baking powder, and flour and beat on low until combined.
Preheat oven to 350° and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Drop by tablespoons onto the baking sheets 2-3 inches a part and bake for 9-11 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are set.
